How many months apart? I don't think the age difference matters.

It's a proven fact that children do better with a stay at home mother. It doesn't mean that parents who work are bad, it means if you have the option, stay home!

A high quality child care center can serve as an awesome place to aid your children in development. Make sure their policies are similar to yours. If you have a career that you love and miss being at, go back to work and let your children experience the social aspects of a child care center. As far as your children being months apart, that should make a huge difference in whether you should stay at home or work.

If you can stay at home then that'd be my first choice. I love being at home with my son. I can teach him things he can't learn in daycare. Like, behavior issues and put him on a schedule.

Because I spent the past year really working with my son he's just a peach now! I don't have to worry about him pulling wires or plugs. I don't have to wonder if he's eating dirt or our plants. The worst he'll do is flip the TV off and on. Big deal, lol.

I know he feels very secure and most importantly LOVED in his home. I know it would have been a lot harder on me (and him too) if I worked. But, you also need to make sure the bills get paid and food is on the table.

Just depends on what you feel is best for your family. This is the hardest decision you'll make as a woman!!

I don't know how old your children are, but if you can, it's best to stay home. Both my parents work full time, from early in the morning until very late at night. I hardly get to see them at all, and it's very depressing and lonely.

It is ALWAYS better to stay home with your children. Otherwise someone else ends up raising them.
