You're in a sad situation. I'll try to help the best I can, and if you need any support, just ask.

What you must do is figure out where she got these thoughts and opinions. Is she repeating what her parents said? Are there people at school telling her things about you behind her back? Did you say something to make her angry? If you can find the source of the problem, then maybe you can talk with her. Let her know that her racist steryotype hurts you, and then try to give her some examples of successful African-Americans. If she is still angry with you, and is unwilling to talk things out, you should wonder whether it's worth it to have a friend who hurts you, and doesn't respect your appearance and skin color, since it's something you can't control. Good luck! :)

Oh my goodness.

It's understandable that you want to know WHY she suddenly thought this way, but there's not much you can do to change her mind once she's set it. I would suggest, however, that you try to find out what made her feel this way! (Come on, it couldn't happen out of the blue for no reason!) Call her again and leave her a message (or sit down and talk to her face to face if you can...this is probably better) about how you feel and how disappointed you are with her. Tell her you deserve an explaination because you DO. If she refuses to, I hate to say it but you have to cut off all the ties with her. Whatever you do, don't give into her or let her win. Fight for yourself, and girl, still respect yourself after this.

It's a sad way to see a friendship go like that, but ANY "friend" who doesn't respect you for who you are - inside and out - is never going to be your friend. Best of luck to you. If you have any questions you can always message me.

Trust me on this one...if someone makes a comment like, "black people are retarded" you really need to find a different friend.

I'm white and I have a large mix of friends. We always have each others backs no matter what. Dump that stupid *** and get another friend. Only a retarded person would make such a comment that would offend an entire demographic of people.

Get another friend....you truly don't need a "friend" like that.

For her to say something so harsh, makes you think how she felt about you the whole time of your friendship. If she hasn't apologize yet, it's not worth being her friend. You deserve better. Good Luck

Well first of all she should have never said that. At least know you know how she feels, but I don't think she meant it. Tell her your sorry even though you probably didn't do anything but it'll help.

Good Luck to you!!!

That is not a friend. Why would you want to be her friend after she said that. You'll move on and have more friends, and better.

I'm really sorry this happened. I can only imagine how you feel. You'll have to say goodbye and move on. You deserve better.

I think that you should explain to her that races don't matter between frienships!! And are you sure that you want to be friends with someone that will hurt your feelings by calling you racial slurs???
