Restaurants to work for in Portland Oregon?

I will be relocating to Portland Oregon, specifically to the Eastmoreland area..anyone know anything of this part of town...restaurants or similar places to work..will not have access to a car and will take awhile to know my way around on city buses, etc.

'Best restaurants are a bus or two to downtown. I would recommend trying to get on with the Wildwood, Fratellis, Oba's, il Fornio (spelling?), places like that. Near where you are living there is also Waverley Country Club (but when I was there they didn't give tips).
