sounds kinda like nikki sixx (from motley crue), most people would say that's bad. i think it's totally awesome! you should def. go with it. but maybe, name her nicole and then call her nikki, that way she'll have a formal name for job applications and what not. congrats!

Not bad at all......

I might go with Nicole and call her Nikki but that's my personal preference

It's cute.

Stick with it.
Don't call her Nicole then nickname her...what's the point of giving them a name you won't use?
If you're going to call her Nikki, then name her that.
I've always disliked people who name their child something then never call them by it, it doesn't make sense.

Cute!! I like how simple it is! Also, I like how you are going right for the nickname...why name your baby something if your intentions are to call him/her something else? For example, why name a baby Abbigail if you are just going to call her Abby? Why not just skip all the aggrivation. With the trend of names these days, who cares if "she may want to have the option when shes older"...

eh, it's ok. I prefer giving a more "formal" name, in this case Nicole, then using a nickname.
