Well obviously the price is not making you back off on driving which will increase supplies and then lower the prices. Basic supply and demand, so i would say it is pretty damn good.

Seriously, people are still believing that "price gouging" rubbish? Even after it's been debunked over and over again? What's funny about that is companies can set whatever prices they wish so "gouging" by a single company isn't even illegal, but even so there's no proof of it despite lots of searching over the past decade. What we do know is that the price of gas travels lockstep with the price of crude oil. Companies make about 2.5% off the price of a gallon of gas to go buy crude from OPEC, then refine it, then sell it to the gas stations. That's about 8 cents at $3. Meanwhile Uncle Sam makes 50-60 cents profit per gallon... and he isn't even doing anything to bring the gas to the stations!
Seriously, just go back to "irak war sux, bush suxors".

Bought a gallon of milk lately? Like $3.25 a gallon. Milk is not a limited resource. How about shampoo. Like $30 per gallon. Are we gonna run out of shampoo? Gas prices have merely risen to the level of inflation. What you should be railing against is the fuel economy of our vehicles and homes. Besides I thought you guys were blaming the cost of gas on the Republican controlled congress a few years ago now that its a Democratic controlled congress suddenly they are blameless. The federal government has no control over the cost of goods in this country except for the taxes they apply to them which haven't risen. Move on to some legitimate complaints.

Just think, if we got rid of the taxes imposed by the government on gasoline it'd be about a buck cheaper. Why do Democrats whine about the price when a 1/3 of it is going to the government they love? I thought you wanted to help the homeless, feed the poor, pay for health care, and save the planet. Or is the left only angry because the tax doesn't apply only to the rich?

Three bucks a gallion for gas is a miserable crime. Price manipulation is a crime, and people need to go to jail.
