What do you think of The Sims 2?

In general what do you think of the actual game? What's your strategy of keeping you sims happy? How do you manage to excel in the game?

Well I find myself building extravagant houses and then moving on to another family to make another huge house. But for the sims I do actually play around with, what I do to make them happy is lock the huge aspiration point wants and try and complete them before the day is up. That gets them to the white in no time. If you want to, you can save the game every so often and if something doesn't go your way you can exit out and load back up to the previous save. Such as, save, say you get fired from wrong choice at job, leave the lot and go back to the main screen and go back in and do it all over again. But in a way that kind of takes away from the experience, but if you really want to excel as fast you can that is a good way to do so.

Can you say love it to the point of distraction? Keeping my sims happy isn't hard because I keep my households small, around four people not including pets. You can keep up social with group activities such as watching tv, eating, hacky sack (not sure what the game calls it and it's a uni perk). Find activities that fill more than one motive. As far as wants go check on all of the sims in your house's wants then those who have the same want try to let the do the activity together if possible. Make sure everyone old enough to work has a job (for pets owners that means your pets too). The more money the better.

It is a good game. It is a fun game to create with friends where you create your friends and take turns playing it with each other good way to pass time. Good small party game It is also a good game play by your self there if so much fun just with the original version but DO NOT USE CHEATS takes the fun out of the game no purpose!!!!!
Also if you were to get a expansion pack get nightlife you can go on dates and have cars and turn ons and turn offs

I love it! ^_^ I make different characters in a neighbourhood, like stereotypes. E.G. right now i have 3 families in one neighbourhood with 3 teenage girls, they are now all cheerleaders and go around posing and being mean! :p . Most of my sims get married becuase...well it makes the game more interesting if you play families not just single sims =D

it is awsome but u don't really excel in it...............i keep my sims happy by finding them a significant other and have them have make-out sessions when 1 is upset and then a lot of WOO-HOO when they r married......plus there is a cheat (maxmotives) that fullfills their needs

i love it... i like to make new and interesting sims, like a grumpy old lady who the kids are afriad of, or the group of popular girls who evryone hates but they love themselves and some familie problems.. it fairly cool and keeps you interested
