That will go under "Personal"
Involved in Charity - walk annually in helping raise money and awareness in cancer/poverty/diabetes by participating in the March of Dimes yearly event.
Unlike the people above me, I will put it in my resume if you don't have much work experience (under 2 years) or you are just finishing college looking for your first job. It shows you do something significant with your time.
After a significant amount of experience (4 years), then you can take it off.

I have a section for my volunteer efforts entitled Volunteer Experience. Have a bullet saying that you participate annually in fundraising for March of Dimes. But if this is the only volunteer efforts, maybe you should just mention it. I have several things and also looking for an Event Coordinator position where it is pertinent.

Unless you are applying for a position with a non-profit or some type of charitable organization, I would not include it on your resume. It is a nice accomplishment, and something to be proud of, but it is irrelevant information for a job search.

It doesn't really belong on your resume. You might mention it at an interview if the opportunity presents itself.
