Since you've delivered early twice, I'd get to a doctor. I know you must be anxious to get the pregnancy overwith, but I think 31 weeks is too early. The baby could have immature lungs and have some difficulty. If you see the doctor and he sees other signs of labor, at least he can give you steroids for the baby's lungs.

On another note, I had 2 full term pregnancies and I had a lot of lower body pain with my second. I think she was just in a bad spot. With your history though, I'd get checked.

Sounds like baby has dropped and is resting on your pelvic bone. My son did the same thing! It stayed that way right up until my actual due date - when I went into labor.

It'd be really early for your baby to born, as I'm sure your aware because you've been through it before ;-P His/her lungs aren't ready yet...so best to just stick it out for a few weeks. Sorry, I know it isn't what you want to hear :((

Im 37 weeks and have been feeling the same exact way for about a week now... i have so much pressure "down there" that it hurts to stand for long, and i just feel like staying in bed all day. back aches? tell me about it. I went to a yankees game and was almost in tears because of my back pain that was coming and going with every half inning. and, just like you, I cant wait to have my daughter out. it could be either... im just kind of playing the "waiting game" now... thats all we can do, baby isnt going to come out until its ready. Good luck and God bless... we'll be feeling better soon!

It sounds like you're having back labor. Pressure is huge sign baby wants out and with this being your third it will probably come quick. I would call the doc and get checked to see if you have dialated and if your cervix have softened at all. Have you lost your mucous plug? I think you should find out Ithink it could be soon.

I went into labor with my first child with INTENSE back pain. I could NOT get comfortable. If I were you, I'd check with my doctor, if for no other reason than to reassure myself!

I think you're just miserable. I had my 4th child 2 yrs ago and I was more uncomfortable in that way with subsequent pregnancies.

Your description concerns me, I would go in or call your doc right away. You need to have awhile so that baby can grow and develop some more. Its hard to wait but its for the best, call the doc right away!
