My husband keeps taking things out of the house like tv's and dvd players and selling them or trading them for drugs. He does this @ 2,3,4 in the morning so I don't realize it until the stuff is long gone. Can I call the police or am I just S.O.L. and stupid to boot for staying?
By the way I don't make enough money to support myself and 2 kids without his financial help. Trust me if some one wants to voulenteer to help with my bills then I would leave him in a second.

Yes in this case i feel you should get the police involved. I think this would be the best thing to do for you and for your kids. You need to be safe and do what is right. You should take your children and leave him for at least the time being and stay with either a friend or a family member... Get to safety before something really bad happens . Go to social services for help if need be.... Good luck to you and your children in this matter and i sure hope things work out for you. Here comes lots of hugs for you today.

call the cops and have him busted. what he is doing is illegal and selfish and bad! oh and also call social services..they can help you get on your feet to help you and your kids get financial help for food and shelter. the kids do not need to be around a druggy and neither do you. get yourself some help and to me this is a tough love situation for your man by turning him in...maybe if u turn him in ...yes he will be mad ...but maybe in the long run he will thank you and then stop using drugs...heck u need to think about the kids #1 then u ...he is a big boy he can take care of himself!

If you depend on him for support then you are probably shooting yourself in the foot by calling the cops on him. They will figure that the money is going to drugs. Your best shot is to get him into rehab. Easier said than done. Check out www.aa.org and www.hazelden.org.
Good luck.

1) call the cops and file a report
2) Get yourself together and find a way to support yourself and 2 kids, where there's a will there's a way. Dont make excuses, do something about it.

I would find a way to get help. Go to your local social services office. They have plenty of ways that they can help you. Leave that loser. You might be in a situation where he may owe someone and they come looking for him. You have two kids to think about.

The cops would be hard pressed to do anything about it because in most states the property of married people is considered half yours and half his. So it wouldn't be against the law to steal your own stuff.

I would call his family and start in intervention to see if that would get him into rehab.

I think that its law that he has to help support the kids even though you will be divorced....So call the cops, and tell them your situation, they will be able to get you help, without you becoming poor....dont worry! Its will be okay♥
