Over the summer, families and parents are always looking for "some help" in some ways:
yard work
car washing
pool cleaning
weeding/garden work
watch kids (that might depend on you)
cleaning basements/garages
mom and pop places looking for help
elderly are always looking for help too...
painting & touch ups...

put some signs up around your neighborhood and start your own "extra summer help"(easy to get to places) and see who calls you...charge by the job or by the hour...word will get around if you are good...and everyone will be happy...and you wont be stuck in a gresy burger place :)
that way you can make your own schedual...still have fun when you want...

GOOD LUCK!

I would take a job in McDonald's or the like. You can get a schedule that is part time, where you can go to school, study and have a social life.

The money in these places are not the best but at your age you need to look at getting a work history started. Mowing yards or delivering papers is nice but hard to verify for future employment.

Kids your age usually can get jobs at real resturants such as applebees, chilis, places that are not fast food ones being bus boys which means clearing tables, rolling silverware, just basically being a runner. and if you stay there long enough you can work your way up to host than to server which is what alot of kids do while they are in high school I would check that out because working in a resturant is way better than working fast food.

Babysit or wash cars or walk peoples dogs.
Weed gardens...etc.
Their are options you just need to look.

Brusters
Publix

Both hire kids at those ages.

A lot of places are also looking for responsible receptionists, not really counting on age. That is what I do.

If you don't want to do the cliche Babysitting, Mowing lawn, Cleaning Grandma's house, Walking people's dogs. ahah

I would check your local hospital's food service dept., that is where I started when I was yourger and they had great hours 4:00-7:30 and every other weekend and they were really accomindating to my school sports. Otherwise I would check there housekeeping dept., that one always seemed to be right on too.
