That question is impossible to answer because all of us will just give you our opinion on what the nicest guitar in the world is.

I'd vote for a 1963 Gibson Hummingbird.

The problem is, this is an opinion question. I've played many guitars including PRS, Gibson and Fender (all old school I might add) and some were fantastic (an original SG i managed to get a play on for instance - awesome) but I love my own guitar the most out of them all. I own a Jackson JS30DK in metallic red, cost about £230 and I love playing it more than any other guitar because it feels good to me.

To sum up: Best guitar in the world = the one you feel like a god playing ! :-D

The most valuable would probably be an antique Martin. Right now, my dream guitar would be the Angus Young signature Gibson SG.

I think that my old Telecaster is the nicest, it always looks after me when I don't feel in the mood, and it's paid the bills for 45 years. It also doesn't complain if I smack some drunken halfwit between the eyes with it -- I love my Tele.

It's the one you feel is the nicest.

Some people like old Gibson Les Pauls, Some like PRS, others like Classicals, or Martin steel-string acoustics, and I like low-end 1960's hollowbodies, like Harmony, Sears and Eko.

I have a CF Martin acoustic DMX version.
Cost about $800.
It has this beautiful rich sound and such a distinct woodsy smell to it.
I think it's really NICE !
