I was told to word it this way. This lets the interviewer know you are using another's opinion of you, not just saying what he wants to hear.
"I have been told that I possess a solid work ethic. I am also an industrious and honest individual."
They LOVE the work ethic one. As for the last two traits.. you have lots of great suggestions here from all of us.
Next time, dear, keep to the short answers. It shows you know how to follow directions.

You might as well just go and get that application from McDonald's. Sounds like that's about the only place you might be qualified to work. If you couldn't come up with three answers that best describe you, no one is going to want you speaking on behalf of their company. Perhaps you should take a course in interviewing before venturing out the next time. Thank you.

Patient, effective, and efficient.
These words describe me because my primary quality is tenacity, or the ability to wait out, plan out, and produce what I want.
No one has time anymore for long speeches or to join your 'stream of consciousness.' Like a good director (John Huston comes to mind) you must learn to summarize EVERYTHING into brief, sound-bite like statements so that you don't lose the attention span of your audience.
