I have an artwork design created in PowerPoint that I need to have in a .jpeg or .tiff file. "Save as" only gives me a horrible quality image (text is blurred).

I've had some luck doing this with PhotoShop if you have it installed.
Select the image in PowerPoint (Cntrl A, Cnrtl C). Then in PhotoShop, select "new image" --the box should open at a size relative to the image in PowerPoint. Then simply "paste" the image into the new blank PhotoShop document (Cntrl V).
If you don't have PhotoShop, I'm afraid that won't be aby help at all...

Open up the Image in Powerpoint: Do Alt+Print Screen to Capture the image.
Go to PAINT in accessories, then paste the image into the PAINT screen; you can then edit the Image, and save the image as a jpg easily

How about a screen capture?
http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.asp does a great job.
You can select the area to capture and it does most any file format. If you use jpeg, set the options to have a high quality image, like 95 (I think the default is 70 which is grainy).

After the image is in the Paint software, then do "document" on the menubar and decide shop. visit the button of the field which you enter the document call and decide the "shop as form" drop-down arrow. Then choose the jpeg or jpg document form. Then upload the document to myspace.
