Of course the rams are making the playoffs next year. they could had made it last, but they just had bad luck against the seehawks. the have one of the best offense or if not the best offense in football. Mark bulger and steven jackson both had break out years. they are both underated. you have the best 3 set WR (Bruce, Holt and Curtis if he comes back). Only problem is stopping the run. we have good people on defense (witherspoon, tonisinoma, little, roy williams, and tye hill). We have the talent to beat any team in the Nfl. (compare the superbowl champs the colts with the Rams. They are almost exactly the same. I think the rams are better than them. if it was the rams in the super bowl instead of the bears. the rams would have won

Lets make some things clear right now we could say put the NFL in 5 Groups

GROUP 1 ---PATRIOTS, COLTS----
GROUP 2.............
GROUP 3 RAMS ..............

Not even close to what the colts are and as much as I hate them they are good and the rams are not

ALMOST MAKE THE PLAYOFFS AND SUPER BOWL CHAMPS compare that

Being a Niner fan, I will will give you similarities, but you are way off. First of all, Joseph Adai is the most underrated running back, not Stephen Jackson. Bulger is a good QB, Manning is a game changer. You cannot compare defensive lines. You have a few names at LB who did not live up to those names. Colts have a secondary who plays a great cover 2, you have players with good intangibles who have not proved themselves. And, the colts got a little play maker back named Bob Sanders. When he is on, he is top 3 safeties in the NFL, behind Ed Reed and Troy Palamalu. Soo...I don't get your point. You did play the Bears during the season last year, on a Monday Night no less. I believe the score was what...42-27 in favor of the Bears. Please, I would love to hear the other side of the argument. I also know that the game prep and coach of the Colts is far superior, as well as the leadership. So...if you lose at QB, WRs(debatable), DL, Secondary, Game Prep, and Leadership...and OL for that matter...I would love to hear your case. Do the Rams have talent, sure...but beating the colts is a stretch.

hahahahahaha c'mon now be serious.

The Rams have a horrible defense that is very succeptable to giving up the big run. There is no solid run or pass defense and Holt is great but Bruce is old and Curtis probably won't resign. So that leaves Stephen Jackson. That guy is a stud. You whole offense was completely built around him. That guy and Bulger along with Holt make for a great offensive combo, but your team is lacking in various other areas.

Rams would not have won the superbowl
They won't win the west or even make the playoffs
They don't have the best WR bunch in the NFL
Their team does not mirror the colts (uhh Manning, WR's and DEF)

The short answer is no.

You are living in the past with the classic shouda wouda coulda attitude. The Rams are far outmatched on offense, and in a shoot out the Colts would win. They have two positions that are significantly better than the Rams, one being the most important QB and the second being the most important in games coming down to the wire, kicker.

The Rams are also outmatched on defense. Yes the Colts run defense was a sieve, but so was the Rams.

The Rams will be lucky to even with their division next year. San Francisco is much improved and Seattle is still the class of the NFC West. Last year they the west was probably the weakest division in the NFC and you still couldn't make it to the playoffs.

They are not identical. Marc Bulger is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the league. Peyton is probably the most talked about quarterback. Both have good recievers and good running backs (Action Jackson is the best) but the colts have better tight ends. Colts score more points than the Rams do, the Rams seem to struggle in the redzone at times.

Um.. no

They do a lot of identical plays.. but as for overall team.. heck no..

Colts have a top notch front line to protect... what was his name?? Peyton?? i'm pretty sure he's one of the top 3 QBs in history.. anyways.. yeah.. they protect him and this new kid named Addai, who unlike Jackson has brute break tackling skills.. Not to mention Harrison and Wayne..

Then on defense they have these two wicked fast defensive ends.. Mathis and Freeney. They are sack artists. Then you got Cory Simon and Booger McFarland to finish out the line and you got decent LB... then their secondary is top notch with Bob Sanders leading the way and another couple of new kids... Hayden and Bethea to pick up some slack..

Also a killer special team with this returner Wilkins who deadly fast.. ALSO this mediocre kicker who's name is Adam Vinatieri.. who isn't really a slouch :P

You're definitely a rams fan to be saying they're pretty much the same as the colts AND that they would have beat them in the superbowl... i have NO idea what you're high on, but you need to pass some of that my way if it's THAT good.. Rams would have lost the game 35 to 13 if they played the Colts in the bowl...

RAMS ARE NOTHING LIKE THE COLTS!!

A team can have all the talent in the world and still not be very good. Case in point: Arizona. Everyone said they'd make the playoffs and that their offense would be insanely good...it didn't turn out that way did it? It's the coaching and team leaders mostly...coaching in Indy is just plain better. I don't know if the Rams will make it or not, but if they improve their defense, they have a shot, especially in the NFC. But with an improving NFC West, the Rams wont get in uncontested either...meaning they AREN'T as good as the Colts. Sorry to be the one to deliver the bad news...go ahead and give me a thumbs down for my honesty.

The Rams are a decent team, who could, depending of if they keep the right personnel, make it to the bowl next year. However, the colts have the experience at all coaching positions, and experience at most every position on the field. And, oh yeah, they have Peyton, Marvin, Reggie, and Dallas on Offense. They also have Rob Morris, Bob Sanders, and Dwight Freeny on Defense.
It could be a toss up...but I doubt it

Dude I hate Manning!, but you are DREAMING if you think Marc Bulger compares to him. There is no way. Yes, I think Steven Jackson is actually one of the top 3 RB's in the league, but Colts WR do have an edge too.

The Colts have a slight edge on defense and a guy named Manning.
