The format of the output movie is unimportant (whether it is mpeg, avi, qt, wmv, etc.). However, an ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT of this utility is that it be invokable strictly from the command line without requiring any interaction with a GUI. I need to be able to issue a command that will turn a series of pictures in a directory into a single movie file. Ideally, there would be parameters to allow me to specify the duration of time each frame is displayed before moving onto the next image. Does anyone know of such a utility? Thanks for your help!

Try RealProducer Pro. It has a command line.
