Theoretically, 3 chickens could lay 6 eggs in 3 days. But who ever heard of half of a chicken laying any eggs?

well the half chicken cant make eggs duhhh
so the one chicken makes an egg and a half in a day in a half
so 3 chickens make 9 eggs in the 3 days.

There's no way to tell, would our rules really apply to a bizarro world with half chickens and half eggs?

I'll just make up some equations and see where it goes.
1.5 C * 1.5 D = 1.5 E

Multiply both sides by 2
3 C * 1.5 D = 3 E

Multiply both sides by 2 again
3 C * 3 D = 6 E

We've had this question before. I'll answer it the same way - half a chicken wouldn't be laying any eggs because it would be a dead chicken.

22...needless to say the "0.5" hen isn't laying any eggs, so the whole hen can lay an hassle-free of one egg and a nil.5 according to day...a million.5 x 15 = 22.5 (drop off the fraction).
