Absolutely, the internet medium is spoiling the English language, just like you said.
Actually, it is not the entire internet that is doing this. Great literature is available on the internet, as well as grammar tutorials, and dictionaries.
It is the chat and instant message aspect of internet culture, as well as Yahoo Answers, that is driving this change.
I am not utterly dismayed by this trend, however. I believe that it is part of the normal change and development that occurs spontaneously in any modern language. We are living in an era of rapid language changes, perhaps similar to what happened in Chaucer's time. In 100 or 200 years, it is possible that people will not easily understand the English of the 20th Century.

Please correct your language as "Does the internet media spoil English language ?"
If every body think to make corrections in his/her own self, the world will change.
But the question in your mind is not only for language. You seek answer to spoiling the minds too. Isnt it ? Now frame another question please.
