I actually *wanted* to get married when I was 27. I ended up marrying at 22, five years ahead of schedule. This Saturday marks our third anniversary and our first child is on the way.
Moral of the story: It's okay to have a set time frame you want to get married in, but if you meet the person you want to marry before then, you better go for it!

I'm going to be 27 when I get married and I think it's a great age. You're young enough to still have children and experience the "silly" things in life, but you're old enough to understand the meaning of marriage.

You get married whenever you feel you are ready. My advice would to be at least after you are about 25. That way you have time to experience life and think things through before you do it.

Old enough to know all that might be available to me in life, what other people are like, all that interests me, and what defines love. Also, old enough to decide whether I want children or not and if I would be a good mother. Likewise for my "intended".

I don't want to get married. It usually leads to divorce.
