my opinion is that racism can take on many colours nowdays.
if ur experiencing anything like the other kids i've heard from on here. teachers r very unsympathetic & will side with the culprit rather than appear racist themselves.
i'm not sure what the answer is 2 this trend sweeping our schools & bad that it's the kids who r suffering the most.
u need 2 talk 2 some 1 an adult that u trust. who will & can make enquires on ur behalf.
this needs 2 b nipped in the bud.
reversing racism, isn't going 2 help us get on.
& sorry but u need 2 start 2 toughen up a lil bit, it'll b difficult sometimes u will just have 2 remember, how bad u feeling right now.
is exactly how a poor black girl felt being attacked by her peers over something as short-sighted as the colour of her skin.
do u c what i mean?
talk 2 some1 & do it soon.

Sticks and stones!! Some people are very quick to call people names but don't like to be on the receiving end of it - if she is meant to be a friend then perhaps it is time to find another - talk to her and tell her you don't like it and ask her to stop

Sticks and stones! rise above it and dont let them see it's bothering you, some people are very good at dishing out the insults but cant take them.
Apologise to your friend, you may not feel it's the right thing to do, but you will be the bigger person here!

maybe you should practice the old law of life
Do unto others as you "would have" them do unto you
why would you do something to hurt someone...especially since you know how it made you feel when it was done to you
I would let the person know that it hurt to be called names...if she were your friend she would not do it.
It sounds like you should apologize to your friend and ask her not to call you names anymore either
if you really are friends you will work this out
be cool...

Life is really too short to worry about name calling. Rise above it.

It's a called a "double standard." It's ok for black people to call eagh other "n!gger," but, if you, even in a joking manner, call them that they get mad. Sometimes my black friends call me "white boy," I usually ignore it, and I never participate in that type of low brow conversation.

Insulting ANYBODY is not right, even if you wanted it to be a joke. As for the girl, just tell her straight out, "If you can't handle it, don't dish it out."

Typical lil heifers, can dish it out, but can't take it.
Keep calling her what you called her, if she can't take it, maybe she'll figure out not to call you that anymore.
I can't stand people like that..makes ya wanna just slap them out of the shoes....

well words are words. names are just that words. depending on how they are ment who cares. If they hate that name then they should not use them. If she aint speaking to you over this then forget her she is a petty little brat.
