I've noticed that mean people are ugly. They have ugly faces and even dress ugly. I even noticed that mean people give themselves angry looking avatars. People that have angry looking avatars also give themselves dark and dreary backgrounds. Has anybody else noticed this too? When I see an angry face avatar I usually don't respond to them, do you avoid angry/ugly people too? Their so negative, isn't a positive attitude better than a negative one?

Please note that I'm not say unattractive people are ugly or mean. Some people seem to think that I'm saying that unattractive people are ugly and/or mean. I'm saying that "mean people appear ugly to me." I have a cousin who's not very pretty, yet, she's not ugly to me. I would like to thank everyone for their input.

That is why people say, " Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is clear to the bone." All mean people are ugly. I see the most beautiful people and once they open their mouths, pure ugliness comes across their face. I guess the saying is true. Thank you and may GOD bless.

I don't think that is necessarily true. Everyone has a bad day every now and then. When you don't look your best on the outside, it doesn't mean you are a demon inside all the time. And also, some people cannot afford to dress a certain way, but are great people. Angry people are angry for a reason. Maybe something is going on in their lives that they cannot control and it is hurting them, so they want to hurt other people. There are so many sides to each person. You cannot judge someone on their attitude/clothing/avatar... you could be passing up a chance to meet a really special person who was having a bad day.

i've seen the most good looking and most well-groomed people to be the most cruel and mean persons in my life. lets not talk about the personal life, you see the most rich people in different countries, the corporate people, they are the most well-groomed, highly educated, they look extremely good and wear the nicest cloths. but are they all good people? they are not. they make money by exploiting others in different ways. they look for new means to exploit the public. the most mean people on earth are the most nice looking.
on the other hand, it is not necessary that a person becomes mean if (s)he dresses "ugly" or doesn't look that good. we cannot come to any decision about a person unless we know that person and his/her activities in some way.
you are right in a sense by saying that a positive attitude better than a negative one, but the defitions of positive & negative are highly subjective.
what seems positive, might not be that good, what seems negative, might not be that bad either!

Not always...I used to have this roommate--prettiest gal you'd ever meet...when I was in the hospital, she moved out, taking a lot of my stuff with her...tracked her down to get it back several times, but every time I came in through the front door, she snuck out the back like a coward...I finally found her at work--as a receptionist in a man's gym--figures...a job like that is probably a boost to her ego, but I got her good...in front of all those guys real loud so they could all hear, I told her how sad I felt for her, that someone so darn pretty outside was so damn ugly inside...I heard through the grapevine she screwed a lot of people over since then and had to leave town when there was no one left to use...not all mean people are ugly and not all ugly people are mean--at least on the inside.....

Not really... but if that is true it is because life is more stressful for ugly people. They have to work harder to make friends, get jobs, get respect... plus they have to watch good looking people get everything so easy. Thats one theory.
As a good looking person I find life to be stressful enough. If I was ugly on top of that I would be very unhappy.

I kinda know wut u mean..... to me if i see someone who i think is kinda cute at first glance and then i get to know them n find out that they are a**holes, they somehow turn from cute to unatractive in my eyes.......
Cuz i guess personality has alot to do with how u view someones image...bad personality equals uglier appearence(to u)...
By the way i think u would probably find me hideous cuz ive been told that im mean but i just call it being honest... o well....

o yea.... n my avataris pretty normal lookin if u ask me..no dark backround and no angry faces..thats pretty much how i look but apparently since im mean..i guess not so much

Sometimes beautiful people can be mean and stuck-up too... I've known several like that. And yeah the sad and angry-faced avatars are annoying.

You've heard the saying, "beauty is more than skin deep." Well, ugliness is more than skin deep, too.
Once you find out what people are really like, you can't just consider physical first impressions anymore. Someone who's ugly "on the inside" will seem ugly, regardless of what they look like on the outside.

I dont understand, i think of its any incorrect way around. i think of if grotesque anybody is propose that's reason their in order that mad on the good looking human beings. lol. yet having pronounced that, some are humble and quiet, and all that. yet some good looking anybody is somewhat caught up, so that they may be propose too. its a mix (:
