There are many reasons why, but here is one, our Government does not want to abide by the laws which were made on this subject. I might add, our country is not a baby anymore as it was 200 years ago, we have just about as many as we can hold. This does not mean we should not allow people to come into our country, but PLEASE LET THEM COME LEGALLY. NOT SNEAKING IN ACROSS THE BORDEN.

Not at all. To enter legally, every person who is not from a "friendly" visa waiver country (like Japan, Canada, etc.) must go through a consular interview, explaining their purpose for being here, etc. Furthermore, they can't just say "I'm coming to look for work"--if you're not just visiting, you have to have a specific, preset job or educational opportunity, and there are tons of requirements, restrictions, and yearly limitations.
Illegally, it is EXTREMELY dangerous and expensive to enter the U.S. People are die every week while crossing, either from being shot by drug smugglers (and, occassionally, the Border Patrol), or dying of dehydration/exposure--most people have to travel tens of miles through extremely rough desert terrain. Sure, lots of people succeed--and that tells you how absolutely terrible conditions are in their home country that make them willing to risk their lives to enter the U.S. illegally. Conditions which, for the most part, were caused by the policies of the U.S. & Europe, from the 1700s through today.

Which country might that be?
That's discouraged by law in America, though it happens. Then again, the Europeans did just that to the Native Americans, along with killing them to somehow "own" the land.
I guess it's ok for us to do, but not ok for them?
Then again, I'm part Native American and part European, so my blood comes from both sides.

when did that happen? We should tell other people, b/c your the only one that knows about this.
Do you think we are the only country w/ immigration problems, b/c many European countries have these same problems. They haven't figured out how to fix it either.

the corporations give money to congress critters. they are expensive. but they will give the corporations what they want for that money.
it's called corruption. and the congress has been under control of the republicans and corporation lovers for 8 years now.
