i have to agree with you 100%. it's not usual for me to watch a show from start to end as i tend to think writers run out of ideas and the show starts to get boring, at least you notice big changes, eg. mash, taxi, cheers, golden girls, (oh god!) three's company, laverne & shirley (these two became outright unwatchable). you get the idea. anyway, i continue to laugh loudly while watching the simpsons. they just don't run out of material!
i must say, however, that i don't care for the musical ones or the halloween ones, but the show is still outstanding

Yeah I have been watching the simpsons since the begining (when they was on the tracy ulman show) and I still love it. Although the past couple seasons wave not really been to my expectations. I miss the days when Connan O'brian was a writer on that show....
eh I guess after 18 years you have to have a low point.
Just like Saturday night live, its CRAP NOW!

Yes this is the best TV comedy ever. It has slipped some the past few years. With the good new writer it could go another 20 years.

It's great. I love the show, so funny. Homer is my favorite character. 18 years is a long time, keep up the good work.

Yeah and they have signed with fox for another 2 seasons and that is likely to be the last one imagine 20 seasons thats amazing

crazy huh? I remeber when it first aired. Always during the Tracy Ullman show. God that makes me feel old that I can remember that.

Sorry but I lothe that programme, it takes something a bit more up market to get my attention, but having said that, my 2 grandsons can't live without it.

i'm collecting all the DVD sets as soon as they're released I just wish they'd bring them out faster, I'm only up to season 9

No way. It is mostly a trailer park cartoon. Just shows how easily people are entertained.
