rap/ hip hop is dead. tragically nowadays its style over substance. nas' new album "hip hop is dead" is a great new album. hopefully this era of crap ends and real hip hop begins again. cash money killed it with bling bling, bow wow killed it, 50 cent killed it, ja rule killed it, dem franchize boyz, yung joc, killed it. the south is pretty much responsible for the death of it. the game, nas tried to resurrect it. a lot of the hip hop nowadays is just plain crap with the exception of a few. i just hope the artists from the 90's come back with a vengance and take back what's theirs i.e. dr. dre, bone thugs-n-harmony, nas...

Don't listen to most of these losers, its not dying cause the major corporations distributing it won't let it die, there making big bucks from rap music. Its not dying but it is changing for the worst. The real hip-hop artist never gets heard, you only hear ignorant crap, like most of the southern rappeers that are comming out right now.

Dying...dying...dead.
Yeah, I guess it will be pretty sad. Traditional rap/hip-hop is a main music genre, though I don't personally like it all that much.

Do you know where it's being buried? I've got a sudden urge to go and dance on the grave.
