Sounds like you're in a rough situation and it really sucks that you're in it. You are probably going to get much better friends later on. Just leave these people that smoke. It's great that you're seeking for help for this but you have to be sure that you don't take any drugs. If you have already and actually liked the drugs, you may get addicted. When you see these people in the halls, just turn around. Don't even talk to them anymore because they can persuade you to keep being their "friends" and keep taking those drugs. Just ignore. Hope it all works out for you. =)

hon, that's an example of peer pressure. you should'nt smoke anything, even if all your friends are doing it and it "sounds" cool. it really isn't. And if they are really your friends, they won't laugh at you when you don't take a certin drug. If you did, you in your friends could end up spending all your money on drugs that you could use to buy a movie or some lemony snickett's books, and loose everything you ever worked for. the way i see it is, either way your friends loose. if you say no to smoking and they laughed at you, they missed out on having a good friend that could help them out with their problems. And if you stay their friend, don't smoke anything, and don't tell anybody, they will be in for a world of hurt. And you need to tell your parents or a trusted adult about the problem, because most of the time when people start doing drugs, it means that there is something wronge with their home life or that they feel self-consious and think that by smoking that that makes them cool. Realy, tell someone about it.

I've been in a similar situation. I'm only 12 keep in mind when two friends (12 and 14) decided to have a few drinks. They snuck into the liquor cabinet and poured themselves drinks, then offered me one. I was afraid to say no, but I told them I couldn't because i have a history of alchoholics and it would be really bad. The girls totally accepted it and the next day they apologized because they felt so bad for putting me in such an awkward situation. If you don't get a happy ending like I did these people are obviously not your friends and you should find some new people to hang out with

Don't be dumb, sorry for the bluntness but honey doing drugs because someone is throwing it in your face and laughing is not cool; total peer pressure. I know those people and they aren't your friends, people get other people hooked on junk because they are miserable and want everyone around them to be the same. This is not a good situation for you and you can find better and real friends. Watch your health because its all you can actually control; your body is your temple so don't burn it down just to make your "friends" happy.
Talk to other people you normally wouldn't, ask to sit with different people at lunch and you'll be surprised at how fast someone will befriend you.
good luck and find someone who likes you for you not for the person they want to smoke with.

Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't want to. They don't sound like very good friends if they are making fun of you like that, but I know how it goes to be "initiated" into a new group. Especially if you're talking about drug use... all the "I can get in trouble" stuff aside, drug use can be down right dangerous. If they said "you can be our friend, just cut yourslef," would you even give them the time of day?
I hope you can find a way out of your social pickle, but take it from me that you'll feel even worse if you break one of your convictions in order to make friends. I learned that lesson the hard way.

Ohhh Please, are you serious? Your going to sit there and ask us if we think you oughta continue to smoke dope with your friends, because they will make fun of you, or because you have no other friends?
Get real chic! Why HELL No.......loose them! Why would you do drugs to fit in? Why not just let them make fun of you, and be the bigger, SMARTER person in this situation? You can't honestly tell me that you'd opt to do drugs to fit in?
I'd go straight to my parents and tell them whats up...and find me some new friends. I would think your parents would tell you the same thing, and I'm quite sure your parents would tell you, that they thought they raised you better than this!
So..let me ask you this? Is doing dope, taking the chance of being caught and placed in jail, having a record of drug use, and people looking at your really strange because of the change in behavior, or talking behind your back because they think your a dope head worth those kinds of friends? Or better yet, the LOOK on your PARENTS face worth the sinking feeling they are completely disapointed in you worth it????? NO...and you know the answer to that....
So get with it, and find you some new playmates!

Sorry that you are going through this. If they are going to make fun of you for not smoking pot with them then they aren't as nice as you think. You need to ditch them. Don't worry school will be over before you know it, you will be glad that you didn't/ stopped smoking pot, and you will be around totally new people and make totally new friends and, they won't matter.

Ok darling, you can't start. Otherwise you will never be able to stop. Most people don't smoke anything at all so just because those people want u to start, doesn't mean u should. Less people in general will like you if u do.

One thing that you really have to look at yourself is YOURSELF. You have to be the one to make the right decision for yourself. Your friends teasing you when ever you say no is like a trap to keep you from doing what you really want to do or need to do. And what makes it harder when their your friends and you want them to like you, right? You probably heard this many times before, but it really is true. Real friends wont tease you or make fun of you when you make a decision to do something for yourself. If they tease you and make fun of you it is only because they have their own wants in mind and try to make you put their wants before yours. You have to take action yourself and stand up for want you want to do and those who are really your friends will stick with ya, even if they did tease you a little bit.

If they won't be your friends because you won't smoke with them then they're not friends at all. Friends like you for who you are. You need to make your own decisions and follow your heart. By the way drugs are illegal.
