lol you guys have been on a tight budget too long if you think norton is worse than AVG
Norton is currently the best overall suite as of the 2007 edition, yes 2005 wasn't the best.
I use Avast 4 Home edition its better at removing viruses then AVG and has a far superior user interface.
NAV 2007 will cost you $40 for the plain antivirus
too much err $70 for the suite.
Also consider Zonalarm suite better firewall than norton's suite but a little less effective antivirus.
geared towards the more coputersavy.
did I mention Avast is free. Its good, resource light and only a 12Mb download.
And cyberhawk ZeroDay protection

AVG free from www.grisoft.com... It can easily upgrade itself without hogging net speed, memory and processor speed. To top it off, you may want to use a registry and disk cleaner to help boost your system's defenses. I strongly suggest ccleaner. You can download it from www.filehippo.com

AVG anti-virus is free and better than Norton. (Norton is a memory hog).

Don't let anybody try to tell you that you need Norton (it's bloatware junk)
