She was a nice woman, a bit ditzy, badly treated by Charles.

I recently saw "The Queen" which I enjoyed very, very much. It did change my view of Diana some, although they didn't really talk about her very much. I had seen her as a victim, but when I watched the move, set in the days following Diana's death, I realzed the Queen probably really didn't like her very much. I really can't understand how she could have an affair -- I know, I know, Charles was having one, but women have been executed for this very thing and she sort of flaunted it. Eek.

She was pretty -- in fact she looked a lot like my little sister -- and seemed to find some causes she could support. I wouldn't want to be in her place, but I hope William marries the girl he's involved with now and doesn't repeat his father's mistake of marrying a young girl in middle age and not taking his responsibilities as a husband seriously.

The only opinion I can have of someone I never knew is how she got on with her family and friends. It appears that she fell out with all of them and always had a 'new best friend'. The only people who loved her were those members of the British public who didn't realise they were being manipulated. Why else would William and Harry have loved Tiggy so much and why else was Diana so jealous. Why else so the princes now love Camilla is she were the baddie?

She was a true royal and i liked her

She shouldn't have been murdered because she was more popular than the rest of them.

And before i get called a conspiracy nut, i do believe she was murdered because their was too much that says otherwise. Reporters so called chaseing them, mysterious shots heard from the tunnel, a cover up that diana was possibly pregnant with dodi. Lets face it it's well known that prince phil is a freemason and a former supporter of hitlers nazi regime back in the ww2. And charles couldn't lose diana to someone of dodi's religion. It was much easier to have her murdered.

she was a beautiful woman who was respectfull of all life nomatter what it was or where it was from and prince philp decided that we could not have a future king of england having a half egyptian(muslim) as an half brother/sister
so he or someone from the top government agencies decided that diana was no longer an acceptable risk for the royals to have around
(b4 ne1 says i am being racist or trys reporting me this is what a lot of conspiracy thearists belive -personaly i don't worry about race creed or colour treat ppl with respect get respect back)

Having worked in the royal household at one time as a domestic, Princess Diana was not as nice as she seemed, on one occaision she was overheard saying to Charles I wish those people didn't call me Diana it's Lady Diana, darn commoners. that's all i'm saying

She was the best thing that ever happened to the royal family, at least she brought a some good looks into the royal family, and helped conteract that pratt charlies comments and his equally prattish father, but because she had a mind of her own and was so popular the royal family did´nt like it and conspired to have her assasinated.

I always found it confusing the way that one day the tabloid front covers were all exposing Diana as a slag and a tease- and the next day, after the crash, she was some great saviour and an angel.

My opinion is we need to let it go, there's always something new to say about her. Just think how her poor family feel? Her name being dragged through the dirt every 5 minutes. We dont really know what went on behind closed doors, so how can we comment? She did alot of good though, how can you knock that?

Its hard to say, I think that she was put on a bit of a pedestal and made to seem like this godlike woman when she obviously wasnt, but she was quite admirable in many ways, bringing her troubles to light and making other people with those issues feel not so isolated.
