MJ was already a league MVP at the same age Lebron is now, that is difficult since James has no real role player like Jordan had, Pippen, Kukoc, Longley, etc

No. The next MJ has emerged already (Kobe Bryant) and his successor will be D-Wade. However, what seperates Kobe and Jordan from Wade and James is defensive. James is one of the leagues worst; whereas, I can't remember a year Kobe hasn't been an NBA- All-Star, All-Offense, and ALL-DEFENSIVE player. Plus 3 rings and 81 points in a game that's ridiculous.

His all around game doesn't stack up to players of the past. Think of MJ, Bird, Magic, Dr.j. They had desire to win at all cost. They had better players around them, but they also made those guys better. Lebron just doesn't do that. Watch old highlights and you will see those guys diving on the floor, boxing out and the occassional fight. Haven't seen lebron do any of those yet.

Possibly, but not if he keeps playing the way he's been playing this season, he has all the potential and talent mj had, but it seems he doesn't have all the heart mj had, that is what made mj so good. He needs to breathe, eat, and sleep bball until the point he is willing quit it if he doesn't acheive what he set out to do.

man, i heard it a million time!
lebron is on a class of his own! he aint jordan, not magic neither bird!
jordan was not Dr.J! ok!
when he came, mj, all said what people are saying now!
listen LBJ is the lord of the rings, surely, not yet the MVP of the season, yet, and def. not overrated dudes, he is the embassador to the game, comon he is th e"precious" for the league right now!
marketing wise, now he is better tham mj, since he is younger!
but with great powers, comes great resp. as long as he fulfill his desteny he will be ok, if not, he is out!
what woories me the most, is the injury on dwade, couple of games after that, LBJ did not play good, man, injury could end you! and he needs dwade to compete with!
see penny, grant hill, cwebb! even vince carter, as great as he is, his injury limited him! why, well from my "modest" exp. in pro hoops, it will open your eyes that life aint basketball, it is only a game!
see the strugel that grant hill did go thru, he was almost killed from his injury, man, but he grow up, became a human again!
ask mj, the broken legg he did endure so young, made him even work harder on his game, but still accepting everything in his own way!
now, lebron's game is difrent, a bit of oscar robertson ball handeling and physic, accordingly, with the court awarness of bird, the willingness of mj, the creativity of vince carter, and.............the free throws of shaq!
no, lbj is the next thing, yes hands down!
but before that, he has to fight his way thru 3 guys in the league right now:
1- kobe, he is now superman, ok! mvp
2- shaq and his" marketing" dominance!
3- jordan and all his rings!!!!!!
if he does that great!
i am not going to be fooled by his "short" success of last year unhuman performance in the P.O., rather with the way he stepped up in the late run for the top of the east at the right moment, what will matter to me, is the way he is going to win the ring! not to win it, but the way!
how many of you do recall the 1992 series between bulls and balzers? not so many! how many recalls the bulls phoneix, i guess all! and the two finals with the jazz! see the point!
for me, mj did his legacy the best, in the finals of the 93 !
he was amazing!
ok!
untill lbj delivers the same...............he is just another media thing to call the next mj!
