Of course you can.
I think I took my step aerobics until I was about 4 months pregnant. After that I just got too busy to go to the gym.
It's important to stay active. The only thing to remember is to not push the way you would have before, stay very well hydrated and stop & rest the moment something feels not right.
You may also wanty to check into some yoga or other classes in your area which are designed specifically for women who are expecting.

I go to the gym every day. However, my doctor told me to avoid all impact aerobics. I think step classes would qualify as an impact aerobic, as well as running on the treadmill.
Try taking a spin class instead, or use the elyptical crosstrainer. That's what I do.

If you have been taking step classes all along then it is fine. If you are starting something new it is best to get the advice of your Dr before beginning.

Yep sure can. But the next time you go to the doctor ask if they think it's okay. Sounds fine to me though. Doctor's like to know what kind of excercise you are doing. :)

Yes, just try to take it a little easier--don't push yourself. Make sure that you don't overheat and stay well hydrated.
