Its a stupid question but is designed to see how well you think on your feel. Its an association test. In simpler terms, what does a flat tennis ball remind you of? I'd say those little saucers grandma used to put under the legs of her furniture so they wouldn't leave marks in the carpet. I'm wondering how the interviewer would have responded if you immediately asked what color are they?

cut a hole in the top of them and slide them on the bottom of furniture legs to make moving them easier, or to keep the carpet from getting holes in it. could also put them over the prong that keeps doors from hitting walls. fill them with water and throw at your husband. fill some pot holes with them would be good. nail them all on a board and put at the end of your parking place or where ever you mite bump into it. string them all together and put on your christmas tree. fill a gully with them and cover with soil to help prevent erosion. throw them all in the yard of the neighbor you like least. use them to pad the ground under your sleeping bag when camping. ( the question was probebly asked to see how creative you mite be at figuring out solutions)

I'd glue them to someone's car who i hated. Wouldn't that confuse the hell out of you if you woke up with 1,000,000 flat tennis balls glued to your car? :]

Use them for coasters under furniture to keep from scuffing hardwood floors or getting those "holes" in the carpet.

This question sounds like the interveiwer was looking for creativity or mabe management skills levels. i can think of lots of things you can use them for.

Hmmm...I would of said an art project (even though I don't do art)...or use them to throw at the person asking that dumb question. But that answer may not get you the job.
