You can get a generic on in for $200 or so. They might have to do some welding to get the rear O2 sensor installed.

Universal at Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, Napa cost about $50-$70!

To get the proper converter for you car and avoid breaking federal law, you will spend about $500. Catalytic converters are made from a ceramic monolith with rare metals embedded onto it. That's the reason for the high cost.

I know they are a good chumk of money. Cheapest one is a 12-18 inch chunk of pipe to replace the converter and don't put a new one in.

I would check out jcwhitney.com and then I would shop around locally.

You also might find one in a wrecking yard.
