I think Memphis is the weakest 1 or 2 seed, but they're still pretty good. So Creighton could definitely beat them, but I'm not going put my money on it.

Any other year I would tell you to pick the MVC team (Creighton) but i'm not high on them this year as in the past. Creighton is a good team but there first round matchup is tough and Nevada is much better than a 7 seed. They've been in the top 15 in the country for the majority of the year and because they lost their conference tournamnet they dropped 4 spots in the bracket? Most Coaches would rather enter the tournament on a loss than a 9 or 10 game win streak because it makes you hungry to get back on the winning track.
Also, memphis might not have a tough schedule but it's not their fault---conference sucks---but, they are one of the contenders to look out for and many are saying that they will be the overwhelming favorite next year. Although they may not go to the final four, u should still pencil them in for sweet sixteen.
Pick NEVADA and then MEMPHIS for those two games

I picked Creighton over Nevada as well. After that, they'll get pounded by Memphis. I have Memphis losing to Ohio St. in the elite 8.

Creighton is a good team, and they had a good run in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament especially.
Memphis is young, so susceptible to inconsistency.
Still, I recommend picking Memphis because their talent level is so much better, If Memphis shows up at all, it won't be a game.

they could absolutely beat memphis. they have seniors with tournament experience and memphis is a young team that is absolutely terrible at the free throw line. this would be a great upset to pick! i didnt pick it because im going with georgia tech over wisconsin as my second round upset, but if you like that pick then roll with it. it is an excellent pick. the people who are hyping up nevada are failing to consider that one of their best players got hurt and is out for the tourney.
go creighton! they are due for a run and a very underated team

Sorry but Nevada will beat both of them.
Nevada should have had a much higher seed. They only lost their conferance championship because their second best player, Sessions, a point guard, got hurt in the game. He'll be back in the NCAA tournament. Nevada is a dangerous team. They'll beat Memphis too. Nevada hasn't had too much luck the last two years in the tournament but I think that this time they will have better luck. Nick Fazekas is one of the nation's best players and his versitility will lead them to an upset over Memphis who hasn't played a good team in 3 months.

I'm not sure how far Memphis will go but they have to be about as talented as any team out there. Calipari (sp?) is a tournament coach also dont underestimate that. One thing that bothers me about them though is how badly they lose when they get beat. They had it truly handed to them aganist Tennessee and Kentucky both this year by like 20 pts. In most my brackets I'm giving them 2 wins.
