I do think it is degrading for both men and women. We all know why it's considered degrading for women...here's why I think it's degrading for men: Much like for women, it sets up false expectations for men. If you want to be a "real" man, you have to be hung like a horse and have a penis as thick as cucumber. Seriously...what guy in real life is actually built like this? I'm sure there are some...but most aren't. It also sends the message that to be a "real" man you have to have sex with tons of girls, preferably at least two at once. If you are a guy that doesn't fall into these categories you are likely to start feeling bad about yourself and/or overcompensating.

OK, I'm a (called it a contradiction) a bit of a gay conservative. So I still have traditional views on treating women with respect.
I have no problem with gay porn. I like gay porn *shifty eyes*.
I hate straight porn though. Apart from the fact that it is "straight", I think it uses women and is degrading to them.
I don't like music videos that display women as mere sex objects either. I can't stand that.
OK, so it might sound hypocritical/contradictory, but it makes sense to me.
And I'm a feminist.

I don't think it degrades anyone. Honestly it is a personal choice do it and watch it or don't....I happen to enjoy watching a few things in porn that I would not be interested in doing in real life.

I don't think it's degrading at all, unless someone is drugging the actors/models, stripping them and forcing them to perform. If they've got it and want to flaunt it and someone is willing to pay them to do it, who cares? One man's porn is another man's art.

God/nature made us physically attractive to each other on purpose. Why shouldn't we regard each other as sex objects? It's unnatural not to.
