I've already been to the doctor twice.

I had my first prenatal appointment around 8 weeks, and I had an ultrasound, pelvic and breast exam, and a whole bunch of blood work done.

At 12 weeks I went for the NT test, which was another ultrasound and more blood work. The NT test came out good.

Today's my 16 week appointment and I'm wondering what to expect. Thanks!

For those who may not know - the NT test came out good, meaning that the baby does not have Down's Syndrome.

You will probably "settle in" to the usual routine. Weight, blood pressure, urine, and then they will listen to the baby's heartbeat. They may also do a fundal measurement where they just measure your tummy with a tape measure. You shouldn't have to undress, just maybe unzip your pants so they can hear the heartbeat (depending on how you are dressed). Congrats!

Probably just a check of the babys heartbeat and of course you'll do a urine test , blood pressure and weight check. Your next apt. you should have an ultrasound at 20 weeks.

If you get another ultrasound, you can probably find out the sex of your baby!!! HORAY! Its literally same old same old for every appointment ect 28 weeks, for sugar, and your last couple weeks for cervical checks. Its very repetitive, but you should be able to find out the sex of your baby now!

should just be a standard appointment. You might opt for your AFP test, 16 weeks is about standard for that, but you might not want it since you already did the NT.
