im 16 i`m desperate for a job !.. i applied at alot of places..but got called back for an interview only once. the interview went pretty well . & i thought i was going to get the job . the guy that interviewed me even showed me around & what i`ll be doing if i get the job. he said to wait about 2 weeks .but they never called me back. im so sadd ;[ should i apply somewhere else & keep trying ? .. i feel like giving up !but i really want a job !. i think i`ll stay unemployed for ever !

You need to show interest in the job. Call them even if they say they'll call you in a few weeks. Just call and ask if they have made a decision and that you still want the job. Keep your name fresh in the mind of the one hiring

You need someone else to help you. At 16, your interview skills are probably not that well developed. Do you have a friend or relative who hires people? Can they have a look at your resume for you? You probably need some practice with interview skills too. Look around for some local free resources - maybe at your library or job centre?
Finally, don't give up. Everyone gets rejected loads of times before they get a job.

You're 16, not 60...it won't be forever, trust me. Keep trying, make sure your resume is perfect, find the right outfit to wear for interviews, and have a friend practice interview questions with you. Maybe your school's career counselor could give you some suggestions as well.
