Chances are no. You would be surprised at how many woman have not known they were pregnant yet, and had a few drinks. This happened to me, because I drank in the two weeks before my missed period. I think about it every now and then, but every time I go to the doctor they tell me how healthy and strong my baby sounds so I worry a little less. Also my U/S was perfectly normal, and that put many of my worries at ease.
So basically, don't sweat it. It happened and there is nothing you can do about it. Worry about what you can control now. Eat healthy, take your vitamins, drink a ton of water, and do everything else you are suppose to do.
Have a good one, and trust me don't lose any sleep over it.

Before I found out I was pregnant (I could only have been a week or two), I went on holiday to Mallorca with my partner - we drank quite a lot as it was our first holiday on our own together...

I am now 32 weeks, and I did have complications during my pregnancy, but NOT to do with the alcohol! I had a haematoma... Totally unrelated.

If I got away with that amount of sangría, I'm sure you'll be OK!!

But seriously, 2 glasses will have done NO damage whatsoever, in fact, a glass of Guinness or red wine a week is reccommended by some midwifes due to high iron content!

Congrats!!

You will be just fine! No worries. I've done the same thing with all four of my pregnancies, and not one problem. Lots of women have some drinks before they know they're pregnant. Just switch to sparkling water now (I like to drink Perrier in a wine glass at family get-togethers -- it's not something I drink every day and the wine glass makes it feel like a special occasion, so I don't feel so left out.)

don't worry
I drank like 2 shots of Bacardi and a couple of mixed drinks and that same week I got really drunk on new years and that same week I found out i was pregnant. So I stopped drink and now you know that your having a baby so no more drinking. Ask your doctor if your not sure

Most likley not!! I mean I worried about crazY little stuff too when I was preggo, and I did everything perfect, and my son was still born 5 weeks early and a true knot in his cord...but thank goodness he was ok. But then I have this friend who is 6 months preggo and smokes pot everyday, and her baby is wonderful (ALTHOUGH I DONT THINK IT IS RIGHT!!), and I tell her that, but thats all I can do. SO NEWAYS, what I was saying, I do NOT think it hurt the baby at all!!

Your going to have a lot of moments like this over the next few months. I just ate shellfish, did I harm the baby? I stood next to a smoker, did it harm the baby.

Generally speaking the advice of your doctor is going to be 'no, but don't do it again' or 'no, but don't make a habit of doing it.'

They don't want you to be ridiculously paranoid about things that might have happened thus far, but they do want to emphasize avoiding doing certain things in the future.

no, the doctors will tell you a glass of wine is ok and some even recomend it to help relax, dont know which ones but i've heard that before. but wine isn't that bad as long as its only a glass or two.

No, it should not harm the baby in any way. I did the same thing when I was pregnant and didn't know. My daughter turned 4 in Feb.

No, you are both fine. Moderate (like 1 or 2 glasses) consumption of alcohol will not hurt the baby - I wouldn't do it every day, but once in awhile isn't horrible. Good luck!

No! Small amounts of alcohol is not harmful to the baby. It's a problem if it's done regularly. The baby will be fine! Congrats!!
