Emigrants have always contributed greatly to the advancement of the United States. They often do jobs that other Americans are unwilling to do. More importantly, they contribute to our cultural diversity. Diversity is a strength because we all benefit from the sharing of ideas and information. Suppose an emigrant came from Norway or Sweden, saw and understood the flaws in our national health care system, and suggested ways of improving it based on a superior universal health care system that exists in their country of origin. What a great contribution their experiences can make! Diversity is a strength and we should always encourage it.
