My reason for leaving was due to a "crazy" - co worker. He was not a team player and lack many communication and personal skills. It was an unhealthy work enviroment for me and I had to leave.

Any suggestions on avoiding or alternative discriptions?

You left for better opportunities elsewhere. Period.

I would avoid saying anything negative about your old job or any former coworkers. That always comes off as something being wrong with you. If anything, say you wanted more of an opportunity for growth and creativity. Or say that you wanted to experience a larger (or smaller) company, depending on where you're interviewing. Or you could just say you've always wanted to work for (insert company name here) and when you saw there was an opening, you decided to go for it. Focus on positive things.
