i had a big party and invited a bunch of people in my neighborhood. one family brought their newborn baby, which i thought was sort of weird, since i've never seen anyone do this before. the party lasted all night, and when people finally started to filter out and go home, i realized... the family left without their baby!!!! they just left it on my kitchen floor, smelly and crying.
i can't do anything with it except "cuddle" it.. i finally managed to buy a crib and put the baby in it.
i didn't really want the baby to die, as the family that has the baby is a family i play with often and i wanted them to keep this baby. i also dont want this guy to raise the baby..
the social worker keeps coming to "lecture" me, like twice a day, but never takes the baby! probably because it's not technically my baby..
will the baby eventually die? i've even tried inviting that family over to see if the'll take the baby when they leave, but they don't!

i can't feed it though, the only thing i can do is hold it.
it has to be a bug.. when you go to that house in the neighborhood, the baby is still there!!

It is a bug, I don't know what expansion pack its from or if it was with the base game. Though try just deleting the baby and see if that will get rid of it in the household where you had the big party. But before that, get the patch for the game version you have.

I don't know, you could try deleting it. Bring up the cheat window by pressing ctrl + shift + c. Then type in move_objects on
Then click the baby and delete it. It might work.
Do you have the pets expansion? If so then that's where the bug came from. You can download the patch at the official Ea site.

It's definitely a bug. I wasn't aware that the babies could leave the original lot of birth. Contact EA Games and let them know what expansions you have. If it's a bug they should know in order to fix it with a patch.

i've got by no skill experienced this type of ingredient, yet once you do ctrl+shift+c and form in move_objects on then you certainly can attempt shifting the toddler in purchase mode to someplace else. i'm sorry if I misunderstood the concern.

the people left the baby on purpose. you have to care for the baby so it can mature into a child( people are heartless they leev babys behind) this is not a bug
