how can i tell a search engine not to include all digits. i know there are ways for e.g. using NOT, the minus (-) sign.

i want to use some sort of symbol that represents ALL the numbers. i tried #, it doesnt work :(

Google's syntax is 1..10 which will give you results with a digit from 1 to 10. Arguably it's most interesting use of this is searching for unsecured Social Security Numbers.
