Their reshowing it on freeview at the moment (ITV 3 or 4!)

I don't think the people who made it really thought life would be like that in 1999 they just wanted to make entertaining T.V

I remember that show from when i was a kid. It starred Martin Landau. It was actually the most expensive show on TV to produce at the time in the mid 70,s.

It looked good because it was made by Gerry Anderson the guy behind Thunderbirds.

It was based on the idea that a moon on "mars" i think was shot out of orbit where they were based and they spent their time trying to figure out how to get back (Star Trek Voyager)?. Meeting different aliens and characters each week. It lasted for 53 episodes . I don't think they ever got back to the correct orbit before the series ended.

I loved that show! It got canceled after 2 or 3 seasons. I wasn't sure if we would be living on the moon by 1999.
