First off, I agee with "galaxiquestar" but then I usually do, she always gives intelligent well thought out answers

Money no object
#1-Venetian
#2-Caesars Palace
#3-Bellagio
#4-Wynn

Four star hotels that 'generally" have the best rates.
#1-Luxor
#2-Golden Nugget > "onlyme" hit that one, right on the head!

Great deals on a three star, these "usually" have the best bargains.
#1-Orleans
#2-Stratosphere

My favorite two star
#1-Main Street Station>if they had a nice pool they would be a three star. This is an awesome place to eat, the Buffet, Triple 7 Restaurant & Brew Club and The Pullman Grill are all top of the line and a bargain.
#2-Gold Coast
#3-Palace Station

Best deal>center strip
Bill's Gamblin Hall

A couple of my favorites for good rates, away from the strip
Sam's Town
Fiesta Henderson

I prefer the old section and stay at the Golden Nugget the hotel is very nice and they just added upgrades, the pool is 3 stories with a shark tank and a slide you slide through it.I havent seen that yet but will in 3 weeks.. Its cheaper to gamble there and less walking from casino to casino.I like smaller scaled casino/hotels. The hotels on the strip are all so beautiful,Treasure Island was very nice.Flamingo, I heard has a great pool and also Manalay.

If money is not the problem then Wynn is your bet. Its actually the most expensive...talking $500.00 per night.
Moderae budget ( i presume u still value quality) then go to the stratosphere...top notch 4 star(or so) for around $70.00 a night

If money was not an issue: Venetian, which I think is the most beautiful. Moderate: Luxor, because it has a great atmosphere.
