I have been friends with these people for about 5 years and lately we don't have conversations like we used to, when I invite my friend to make plans it feels like she is always waiting to see if something better comes (I invited her to something a week early, which was too early, and then I re-invited her the day before and that was too late). I had a previous (6 month) friendship fall apart and talking about it didn't help. So I am wondering if I should ask my friend and roommates if I did something or if they are just too busy with their jobs and (one of them- significant other) or if I should just wait it out and continue living in silent annoyance and questioning.

it's not that I want to hang out with them all the time but my two other roommates hang out together a lot and one of my roommates hangs out with my other friend frequently, but I am rarely invited when we all used to be friends together. I haven't hung out with my one friend just the two of us in months and my roommates barely even say hi to me anymore.

If it were me I would ask them. If you don't the friendship could be lost because you might end up lashing out at them because of this.

definitely ask them, but in my experience, living with people can be suffocating, and sometimes you'd prefer to not LIVE and hang out with the same people ALL the time, maybe they just want to hang with other groups of people too, thats what college is all about. Make a different groups of friends too so that you dont seem clingy

Well i would ask them why they are treating you like that. When they give you an answer (even if you don't believe them) then I would just leave it at that and start having your own life. You don't have to be with the people you live with all the time. That could bring stress

I think it's fair enough to ask if you've offended them in some way, but I wouldn't offer them an 'out' if I were you. I have had friends that hedge their bets in case something better comes up and it's not a desirable trait. I would try to expand my circle of friends so I weren't so reliant on my roomates +1.

I think u should ask them frankly....coz they probably heard rumors about u which is wrong and automatically reacted the way they r acting now......or they probably busy and cant make time.....just ask them in a very direct way and tell them how they've been acting lately .
Good Luck

How about living your life and enjoying every moment of it ... Why would anyone, no matter friend or a boyfriend have such huge impact on you? You have been there before you have met them, right, so in your life everyone except you is replaceable.
