our friends anniversary was yesterday...but we didn't get them anything yet. They are in there late 30'. We are willing to spend up to $250 on a gift for them.

I would try and find something that you could personalize. My future sister-in-law bought me a great Christmas present. It was a sign that said "Always Kiss Me Goodnight" and in the background it had my name and my fiance's name. It was perfect. So I think something like that would be a nice, thoughful idea. Hope this helps.

We usually don't give gifts for anniversaries until they hit big ones like 10, 25 and 50. But maybe a nice dinner out would be a GREAT gift.

well you will have to be a little more specific. you can get them a gift card to get some fancy pictures done.
or buy a gift certificate to thier fav restaruant and find a old pic of them when they were dating and put it in a little frame and wrap it or borrow thier baby pics and put them side by side and give it to them and mabe even free tickets to a movies so they can make it a night out. really it is what they enjoy doing.
