I took my daughter to a theripist. She has seen her dad abuse me, and he hs touched her one time when she was 8 years old. She is now 13 and just came out with this because she has recently went thru puberty. I tried to leave for so many years but he kept me isolated, scared he would kill me and my family. I am in therepy myself. I am glad (dcps) is involved because they can stop visitation. Her theripist said it is harmful for her to be in her dads presence, with everything that is going on. The supervision is not being supervised properly. Her dad is going to go crazy, and he is going to rebell. I just hope he doesn't go thru with his threats. By all means the last 15 months has cost me loss of sleep, he has damaged property, broken into my place, and has tried to allienate everyone around me. I know I was the victom also, I wish I was as strong as I am now. I just hope I don't get accused of not protecting my children by the (dcps) protective services. What do I do?

Keep fighting to keep him away from both of you! It IS your responsibility to protect your children. Perhaps you were unable to do this in the past, but tomorrow is a new day. Don't give up!!! I don't think you will come out ahead if you lie to dcfs. Accept where you have gone wrong and concentrate now on what you can do right. You owe it to yourself and your family.

If you haven't done anything at this late stage of the game "shame on you!" You are the one who has not decided to put an end to it. You have all these services out to help you and you still have the problem... Is there some signals you are sending out to bring this on? Can you be held accountable? Who else? And from the looks of it, if he isn't in jail already he will be soon, unless... it isn't really in him the cause of the problem but in you somehow. And don't be playing games with the dcps. They will take the child away from both of you and that will be the end of it. And then you can continue to play victim to your hearts fulfillment.

Lady, MOVE!
Do not talk, open a bank account in some other state, by mail! Put what ever you can into that account. Go on-line and find out about Government services & state services that are available to support you.
Put together your Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, marriage liscense School papers and when you have enough funds for the tickets + $100.00 LEAVE!
No word to the school, or anybody/one!
Take the bus/train to some large city ANYWHERE! When you get there, go to their shelter for help!
START NEW!

you are not responsible for the domestic violence nor your daughter bing touched by her birth father. why? even though you are her parent you did nothing of the sort; in fact it was his fault because it was his choise to do so. one way you can protect your daughter and yourself from this assailent is to move to a different place and pay a small fee to remove your phone number from going public. Not even organised criminals should be able to locate you possibly even a detective. another option is you can take legal action. this guy is making things very tough for himself if you do take legal action he is giving you alot of amunition. all you have to do is pick up the gun and load it. oh i am not realy saying that you should shoot this guy; i was talking figuritivly (just in case).

This is called child endangerment. Yes, you can be held liable for not keeping your children safe, when you are aware of certain factors going on. You explain the problems, in full, to your therapist, and ask her what your options are. Most therapists have a list of 'where to go', 'what to do', in their possession. Your children are 'Victims of crime'.......and you, probably, are, as well. Go to Victims of Crime in your area, and get your children safe. Your safety is important, as well, and you cannot choose between your husband and your children. Your children come first in the law, and first, I hope, in your feelings. Get help. Get that man out of the house, period. Are you afraid of him? I think so. A man who abuses children and a wife is not a man, but, a bully. Get rid of the bully and get on with your life, saving your children from any more abuse, as well as yourself.

That is not a way to live you need help, find some public assistant who deals with the type of problem you're having and find the right approach to solving your problem.
