Days are usually seized only by dogs that are smart enough to recognize an opportunity... and smart enough to actually do something with it.
Dumb dogs... usually stay dumb dogs.

The fly in the ointment I think is assuming only one dog is allowed to have a day per day. What's stopping a mulititude of dogs from all having their day at once? Say 4 local bitches go into heat in one day couldn't all the guy dogs in the neighbourhood have their day all at once then?
