I have a pic of a beautiful butterfly with big yellow wings, and I'm really curious to know what type it is and a bit more about it. Thank you.

www.bugguide.net is pretty surfable, lots of pictures, you should be able to decide what family it is in, and then narrow it down from there.

If the website above does not help, do a yahoo search for types of butterflies & look at some of the 1,500,000 results.
