I do mean intimacy in every sense of the word too-not just sex.Sometimes,I do so many menial, job related things with my wife that it seems as if we are talking to each other like co-workers all of the time.We met at another place we worked at,so I wonder if that has anything to do with it? I don't know,I just don't want this to affect our marriage's intimacy.

Has anyone else experienced this?

You must act professional at work, and treat each other as professionals as well. Husband and Wife ends when you two walk into the office, and you two are not two workers that are good friends, and nothing more.

Same, all family related problems (as in the intimacy or relation) stay also at the door, and same with work, once out of the office, work related probalems must stay there, unless you are to work at home with her for a project or something, and you two should consider each other more “workers” and not “lovers”.

If you don’t do this, chances are the relation can go down into a spiral of problems and frustrations. Is not easy to separate them, but is not impossible. I did it with my Wife, we opened our own store for some time, and we did good, until we decided to close it for other reasons, still we were able to work good together, and keep problems separated.

Some people can do it better, others worse, and some don’t need to separate things as much as others, but that you will see it on the run.

Good luck.

My husband and I met at work, and we have worked together for 12 years. I love knowing he is just down the hall, and we eat lunch together every day, and take our smoke breaks together. I love seeing him here, and still smile when he walks in my door! It's usually the only time we get to spend together without kids, unless we plan for a baby sitter, so it really works out great! And it's great teasing each other during the day knowing we will get to go home and have each other that night!

Yes, definitely! Get out of the work rut, and start treating each other like very good friends!

No, I personally haven't, but seeing someone all day would drive me nuts.. Can cause strain in a marriage for no reason.
