The Exorcist is still by far the only horror flick that has left a lasting impact on me. When I saw that movie I was just scared senseless and couldn't sleep for the next couple of days. Linda Blair's performance was just awesome, the visual effects just blew me right off the roof. Really scary stuff.

The Exorcist.

No other movie has left me scared out of my wits. I'm sure the first time it came out, it left that generation remembering that film as the scariest of its time. When they re-released it in theatres a few years ago, my generation went to see it. The movie started and everyone was laughing and thinking what a joke of a movie it was. When it was over, it was dead silence and everyone walked off like they just saw something that took the life of them. Best horror film out there!

From dusk til dawn. (It is so funny with Cheech in it and Looove that Clooney). It also has the funniest line from a film ever in it, when Clooney comes out in the morning and Cheech asks him if they are physcos. Clooney answers "do they look like physcos? Physcos don't explode when sunlight hits 'em I don't give a f**k how crazy they are!! I,m that much of a fraidy cat, I can't even get past most theme tunes!!

These are some of the movies that have traumatized me...It (I'm afraid of clowns now), Arachnophobia (I'm afraid of spiders now), The Ring and to this day I still get a little freaked out about having tv's in the house, Signs scared the crap out of me cause I know when I look out the window I'm gonna see that alien sitting on my roof. This is why I avoid scary movies. So if they traumatized me I guess that means they did their job as a good scary movie.

Final destination has some really good scenes. Also, the Stephen King film Misery is worth watching- not so horrific as some films, but it has its moments.
