I don't really know many but you should try going on www.purevolume.com. You can search for specific kinds of genres in music. It's great. It has some awesome bands.

Hope that helps. =)

Well, they're kinda old, but the Cure is considered one of the biggest goth bands ever, and Depeche Mode's Violator album is very dark and beautiful.
Interpol is rather dark, and if you like piano, you might like Muse.
They're not goth, but the Doves have some beautiful, ethereal songs.

Bauhaus. prolonged kinfolk of Xymox is stunning. Sisters of Mercy...enormously the "First and final and constantly" album. 'Marion (version)' is, in my opinion, the wonderful Goth song ever carried out! Siouxsie and the Banshees is protogoth, like me. As is the early medical care stuff and 'Disintegration'. you will possibly be able to desire to take heed to 'Charlotte now and back'. I command you. seem into my eyes... excitement branch defined Goth. Cabaret Voltaire, Alien intercourse Fiend, Cocteau Twins...all super bands. seem up 'Goth' on ITunes and you will possibly be able to get an necessities series which could initiate you off.

It looks like you like bands fronted by women, here is a little list of my faves,
1. the dresden dolls (fun lyrics, catchy piano tunes)
2. Otep (screaming a-plenty, would take amy lee in a bar fight)
3. Arch Enemy (no really, its a woman singing!)
4 Jakalope (industrial music with powerful vocals)
5. Flyleaf (a little mainstream but still better than evanescence)
That may not be exactly what you wanted in an answer but i bet you will like at least one of the aforementioned bands.

The big names in goth:
The Cure (You can't forget their "trilogy of goth" records)
Bauhaus
Sisters Of Mercy

Also try a little album called Sing The Sorrow. I swear, you'd fall inlove with it.

I don't know those bands but check out Bauhaus and Sisters of Mercy (though he hates being called a goth).

I Am Ghost is really good. Cradle of Filth has long, intense songs. Evanescence is good. Umm... that's all I know right now.
