ok, I was silly and signed a 2 year contract with dish network 22 months ago, Thank God it's almost over, but I need some info on other service providers. Please give me your opinion on your service provider. Thanks a HOLE HEAP!!!

You mean satellite providers? They're all about the same. I used to have DirecTV 6-7 yrs ago and a hard rain would knock it out. I speak with alot of satellite users and it hasn't gotten any better.
Cable providers are coming up with new & better ways to provide their services. Fiber optics are playing a bigger role now and are more efficient than coax. More & more cable companies, and now phone companies like AT&T, are using more fiber, and not just on the mainlines. Some companies have started running fiber optic lines up to the houses and at some point all of them will in order to compete.
But cable companies love constantly raising their prices with little to no improvements to their services.
